Class 2-8 had their English TT class today. They were studying a news story from their CNN textbook about a gaming addiction problem in China. To help them learn new vocabulary, they worked in teams to complete an activity with Quizlet. Afterward, students paired up to play the popular word game “Taboo.” In this game, one student must explain a word to their partner without using the word itself, while the partner tries to guess the word. Finally, the students worked on a short opinion essay, expressing their thoughts on whether a new one-hour time restriction on gaming would be beneficial. It appeared that half the class would welcome the restriction, while the other half argued that one hour was too short.
