GTEC – Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking

Today the 3rd year students sat the GTEC exam. This exam is unique in that it tests all 4 skills of language learning in the same exam. When asked, “Are you ready for the GTEC test?” some students enthusiastically replied, “No way!” Other students were quietly confident. And most students could be seen all week preparing with their GTEC notebook.

The advice given to them was not to worry too much about making mistakes, but to try their best to get their point across – that is the whole point of learning another language.
