English Classes with Robison & Andy

Team Teaching English classes for third-year students this year will be taught by Robison, Andy, and an accompanying Japanese teacher. Robison is originally from Michigan, in the U.S.A., and Andy is from Melbourne, Australia. We hope that the increased number of native English-speaking teachers gives students more opportunities to practice speaking English. Just like any sport, the key to improvement is consistent practice. Just as the saying goes, “If you don’t use it, you lose it.”

In this TT English class, the focus will be on speaking and writing. Topics discussed are mainly around societal and environmental issues. The goal is for students to be able to express their own opinions on such issues. The native English-speaking teachers will spend time marking and correcting each student’s essays. Students will hopefully be able to learn a lot from this and see improvements in their writing as the year progresses.
