Students use the seventh period today to reflect on the current term and plan out their study schedules for the end-of-year examinations. They reflect on each subject and assign themselves a grade. They also identify specific strengths and weaknesses in each subject. Finally, they set goals and determine areas for improvement for the upcoming examinations. After the examinations are over, and students receive their papers back, they reflect once again on their initial thoughts to see if they met their goals.
Overall, this flow encourages self-awareness, goal setting, and continuous improvement. The cyclical nature of reflection, goal setting, and reassessment after examinations creates a structured approach that can contribute to academic success and the development of valuable life skills.
“We don’t change from our experience, we change when we reflect on our experience.”
